Both vinyl craftman and music producer inspired by a wide range of electronic and tribalistic genres, Cyberlife, a passionate human being born for endless mind growth and music dedication, brings the ambition to shape a very personal style, surfing on shamanic, psychedelic, hypnotic and forward-thinking vibes. By applying layers of effects on stretched field recordings or destructured analog synths jams on a large scale of tempos, the exploration of the meanders of the matrix of electronic music defines his director line, with an aim to find transcendance and reveal a futuristic and organic universe rooted to some old school influences.
Sport National gives carte blanche to the collective and label from the Paris region Syrinx Music for an evening at the Olympic Café under the sign of ambient. Three weeks after Syrinx's return to Sample, we offer you the sequel in a more contemplative mode, around two guests and a jam.
We are delighted to welcome the Australian artist and composer Megan Alice Clune for the only French date of her European tour. Author of releases at Room40, her productions alternate between lo-fi recordings of meditative piano, synthetic explorations, manipulations of samples and her own voice, in a search for suspended atmospheres that are always captivating.
Alongside him, we will also welcome Jean-Yves Leloup, sound artist and activist of the electronic and ambient scenes in France since the 1990s. As much a DJ as an author of reference books and multiple radio shows, he will present his new project Quiet Voices, under which he published a vinyl album at Sahko Recordings last year. As usual, the line-up will be completed by artists from our collective, in the form of an ambient jam bringing together No3sis, Cyberlife & Peine Rose.
